About the spell shields.

I was wondering if Zilean's (Q) Time Bomb was supposed to or not supposed to proc off of Sivir's (E) Spell Shield and Nocturne's (W) Shroud of Darkness? I was just in an ARAM with my team having a Sivir and Nocturne with an enemy Zilean and we both popped our shields when the bomb was on us and it popped but never got blocked when the shield came up. Is this a bug or is this supposed to happen because it is considered a spell :/ Just want some clarification here. Thank you.

P.S. I honestly don't know what community this would go under :o Sorry if this is the wrong one.

this community is for feedback on the forum itself i'd put it in gameplay/strategy or live balance. there really should be a community for bugs

it used to be you would use your shield when the bomb was about to explode. and if you mistimed it then you were screwed. dunno if that's still true or not. will test later

yeah you have to use the spell shield before Zilean casts the bomb on you. If he already gets it off and its counting down it won't get blocked by your spell shield.

first off its not really a spellshield for Sivir and Nocturne its more of an ability blocker where as Morgana has an ACTUALL spellshield that prevents spell dmg aswell as abilities
