I think Riot made an odd decision...

...switching to Boards and closing General Discussion while Boards is still in Beta. Shouldn't it be ready for launch before being forced upon the masses? What does "beta" even mean anymore?!

I don't like these boards either I have no freedom to change color scheme sometimes its hard to read the boards, and I can't even add posts which have active people posting to go to the Top either its annoying, plus the fact there is no player behavior which I enjoyed reading almost every single day.

Honestly the old Forums were way better than this but the option to use either type should be allowed.

It has enough and has been tested enough to make the transition (It does have more features than the old forums had). But that doesn't mean it's not still a work in progress. They're still looking to make improvements and add features. Since they're not fully to where they see this place going in the next several months, they probably left the Beta up there.

league players are some of the most 'beta' in the world. No one consumes a more unfinished product daily.

One reason I could think of is so that the community can be involved with developing exactly the features they want for Boards.

That being said, I do think there were some obvious things (better quoting) that they should have finished before they brought everybody over from the old system.
