Even if they are a scripted bot, Name & Shame is explicitly against forum rules. If you read them you'd know. Also why would you put that in a bug report? Clearly not a bug.
A) I read the part about "severe" or "baseless" and didn't realize that they had a second section covering exactly the same ground after a stretch on unrelated material. My bad.
B) However, if that were the sole reason, the post could have been edited to remove the offending link without destroying it entirely and deleting the pick that simply showed the bottom lane being the only place anything happened (since I was the only player that ever left it).
C) It's general practice on boards and other moderated forums to provide a note to a user telling them why an action was taken. I speak from experience as a CM lead at two different companies, having handled both boards moderation and live chat moderation.
D) It's a bug if the system allows scripts to play and does nothing to prevent it. At the very least it's a design flaw. It was also deleted from "General", so that isn't the sole reason
E) THIS thread was about the thread being deleted without reason given specifically, not about the issue it covered. Specifically, to repeat: Mods should not why an action is being taken and deleting a thread is not the only way to fix the problem. Removing the offending material is the usual trick.
