Cant login still and its been 3 hours

I have seen other people post about so I figured I'd chime in as well. I tried logging in and it said 3 attempts tried and that it failed to do so. I checked my firewall even though I knew it was't that so I'd like to know what is going and when riot is going to fix it. I know it isn't just me

I noticed its everyone so far from what I've read on other posts. hopefully they fix the problem soon riot updated about an hour ago saying they are patching at the moment lets hope its not going to take to much longer.

Thanks a lot I checked lolking as well and we are the only server down....I didnt know it was for a patching but it has been 4 hours :(
