Riot called me a scamer for no reason!

So one day I posted this: "Not fixing "left click" bug cause players to leave their games in progress, to restart their client to fix this issue, resulting punk buster to make them type annoying shit. Do you agree to fix this issue Riot? Type "I Agree" to continue." - This was all i posted, no links or any other content.

Next thing I know I got message form roit: "We’ve removed your content as the site you’re linking is almost certainly a phishing or scamming site designed to steal yours and other players credentials..."

So basically riot called me scammer and cheat for no reason. That is Slender and i demand an apology!

I think you mean Slander, which is also wrong, you're looking for Libel. Slander is spoken defamation of character, while Libel is written. They also didn't technically defame your character either as that would imply that they falsely told other people you were a scammer and a cheat.

You're owed nothing.

I looked into this for you and it appears the wrong messaging was sent in the first message to you. That messaging was then revoked and a new message sent to let you know it was recommended you post your message in a different section to receive help.

We're sorry you received the wrong messaging by accident. To be clear, the messaging we accidentally sent isn't calling you a scammer; it's stating a link/site in your message is a potential scam/phishing site. This is a standard warning message we send when people post asking about scam links that go around the community. If we thought you were a phisher/scammer, you'd have received a message letting you know your account was permanently suspended from the Boards.

it was probably auto detected did you lose your account? if not then I wouldn't worry too much if it happens repeatedly then there might be a problem but they gotta protect their game and its users

why take it personal? the toxic players in this game probably say worse things than what riot or their automated system said yea it sucks ik what you mean but you still have your account right? don't take it personal its wasted energy you could be using to play the game or something and they don't really have the time to respond and talk to each individual player unless its through support tickets and such cuz thats their job not to mention its christmas eve and they're probably spending time with their families this game has millions of players
