Alrighty. Firstly I'd like to say I've only recently started using the forums (both CB and GD). I've used GD off and on in the past, but not with much consistency. I've always been more focused on the actual playing of the game than the community. But lately I've started taking more of a special interest and realizing that there are a lot of great things to offer on both forums. I'd also like to thank IronStylus because he's the one that convinced me to try out Community Beta and I enjoy it a lot. :) However, there are two things that I'd like to comment about that I feel can be improved on in the Community Beta forums.

  1. In the old League forums, your badges for Gold/Plat/Diamond/Challenger would be visible. Same with the Junior Member/Member/Senior Member status, or in rarer cases people would be a Wrenchman/Adjudicator/Emissary/etc. Some people also had the Recruiter/Master Recruiter badges. I was only a Gold scrub last season, so I didn't have much to brag about, but I really enjoyed those badges (both on my banner and other players's). I would love to see them somehow implemented in the Community Forums, even if it's only visible when you visit somebody's profile.

Also, if they're already visible somewhere on CB and I just haven't come across it yet, I'm sorry for wasting your time.

  1. I feel like there should be more sub-communities. I know that the CB forums aren't super-populated yet, but later on, as the community here grows, I'd love to see some new sub-communities, like maybe ones specifically geared towards Twisted Treeline or Howling Abyss. It's not anything that is really a pressing matter, but it's definitely a direction I would love to see these forums eventually expand towards.

  1. They are. Try hovering your mouse over a summoner's name (not mine since I'm only a level 24 scrub and not ranked yet).

I agree with both points. Sometimes I might not remember a commenter's name, but "oh, yeah! He had that thing that kinda looked like fire". The sub-communities might be necessary later on as more people start using this. So far, its more aesthetically pleasing to me.
