Loading Screen Borders

So I was wondering, why cannot we see the borders for the opposite team during the loading screen? I mean, what is the purpose of having them if we cannot show off to the opposite team what tier did we get to last season? I understand we can show off to our teammates, but that's not good enough. I want to strike fear into my foes as they see my Platinum border (even though I don't have one, but let's say I do) and make them tremble.
