There is no way that a thread like this should still be alive after I have been reporting it daily for the past week for spamming. Over half of the comments are just the OP bump-deleting. Not to mention that on the old boards it would have been gone in minutes due to downvotes, but that's a problem for another thread.

He's bumping it back to the front page and then deleting the post so you can't report it, yeah. I don't really see your point here, other than just stating the obvious.

Daen2 votesWe can also just ignore porn and other offensive content, by that logic. Saying "oh just ignore it" is not an excuse for allowing spam to propagate without intervention, it's directly against the platform's rules and should be treated as such.
As for mods deleting the bumps, it kind of doesn't matter. He is clearly spamming, and he's abusing the system's mechanics by keeping his thread almost permanently on the first page of GD.

Daen2 votesIt's a logical similarity. This user is intentionally circumventing Boards mechanics by constantly bumping his posts (considered spam by most people, especially seeing as quite a few people have commented asking him to stop), which is a direct violation of the Universal Rules.
The approach of "just ignore it" works about as well regardless of the media, whether it's a useless thread constantly spammed to the top of GD or a pornographic comment. Both situations should really be handled in the same way, despite the fact pornography is a more serious breach of conduct.

Vantooth1 votesWhat kind of actual scrap is that? Not only does the thread have more than 500 downvotes and is still open but it is indeed mostly just him trolling and spamming bumbs and as he said in one of his own comments he delete them himself so it still bumb but is not considered spam.
