Sub-Forums in Roleplay
Hello. You may not care for the roleplay aspect portion of the community, I won't assume you don't however, I just want you to know how vital it is to so many of us. I have been roleplaying for many years. I have been to numerous sites which allow me to do so and I was wondering if you could incorporate some sub forums as this would be immensely helpful to keeping things organized. I look at the Roleplay forum and it is just a list of gods knows what. Ask threads, OOCs, Closed rps, Sign Ups. It's a mess!
It shouldn't be too hard to create sub-forums for such things right? A sub-forum for "Ask" threads, a sub-forum for "OOC" threads (there could be the main OOC thread which would be a sticky, and then other OOC threads would be linked to RP threads, that way people don't clutter up RP threads with OOC comments.) And then for OCs there can also be a sub-forum. The "RP" thread of course would be left as is and not as a sub-forum (both closed, semi-closed and open) There are so many options, I don't see why we don't incorporate this idea. It makes everything so much more organized. I am tired of people spamming OOC comments in Roleplay threads. If they had an OOC thread to go to then they wouldn't have to clutter up the RP thread, and who is going to make an OOC thread when that only clutters up the Roleplay Forum? It's just a big 'ole mess. There aren't too many threads so whipping out the mops and cleaning this up shouldn't be difficult.
This is how it is for many other Roleplay websites (such as GaiaOnline) and it has worked incredibly well there. Anyways, I hope you consider this (though perhaps you already have, and if you have I'd like you to reconsider!) and let me know your thoughts. If we had this sort of set-up it would promote much more activity in the Roleplay community! It's less messy, less confusing, and gives us more space to be creative! Thanks for reading!
