Red tracker readability

I have a few things about the new red tracker I wanted to bring up. I was happy to see there was already a discussion on the "post x out of y" counter and, more importantly for me, the clicky-thing - I also like to click on the post as I read it. I know its weird :/

But also I feel like the combination of the larger font and the "sub-communities" box ends up taking a lot of screen real estate on 1280x1024. I keep my browser generally on my 4:3 while I do work or games on my widescreen. But anyway, because of the extra margin that box creates and the larger font, I A) can't see many thread titles at once, and B) larger thread titles frequently wrap, where a smaller font or wider space would solve both these. Also I know these are all petty complaints, but this is kind of an issue when there are many replies to one thread in a row - makes it hard to see what is happening when you scroll, and with these changes I'm finding myself scrolling a lot...
