Lets get this back!! But make it better!

I know years ago there used to be a forum about the update that summoners could chat, and kill time on. Also there were updates about the update within the forum from Riot Games employees, and how much longer the patch would take and reasons why it might be taking a significant amount of time. It would be nice if this was brought back, maybe adding a link with it to the alerts in the patcher besides just all of them going to the server status. Heck there should even be an update for us summoners in the patcher notifications on the E.T.A. of the completion of the patch. What do you guys think about this? If you have additions or revisions just let it flow!
