Can we get a search function/Red Tracker that includes General Discussion?

The whole reason GD was a happening place was, it was where Rioters went to look for things to comment on, it was where the biggest, most important threads happened, threads that have been likely influential on this game to this day.

So, why, when you're making a new General Discussion, do you hamstring it by not being able to search for specific threads within that board, nor can you see on the Red Tracker when a Rioter posts there? It actively discourages use of that forum, and since it is the only forum that doesn't use that godawful nested discussion, it's pretty much the only one a lot of people can stomach reading.
