My Opinion of the new Boards

It should be a one time vote. I don't think people should be allowed to change their minds once they vote. I also think that voting should not be displayed on the main board page. People should have to go to post to see what it's about before they can down vote it or up vote. At this current moment people can take back their up vote or down vote and change it as many time as they like. I honestly prefer a one time vote, good or bad.

Also we really really need a Clan and recruitment area and a New Players area. New Players need a place to ask for assistance on the game, and we neeeeeeeeeeeeed a place where people can go to find a community or a ranked team to play with. Right now all I see on the new Boards is a bunch of spam and people saying how bad the new Boards are. I honestly agree with some of the feedback I have read recently.

There are certain aspects of the old forums that you simply did not take into consideration when moving over here. Things that are highly popular with the community simply did not seem to make the cut. I also want to add that an area where for Tournaments and stuff would be very helpful. Right now everything is short of falling under Miscellaneous cause we have no where to go. Please give us a section to call our own.

Well, if we changed to "one time voting" we'd also have to remove the ability of people to edit their posts.

I think people should be allowed to change their vote - because sometimes we change our minds.

Sometimes there's a post that I think has a good point but is super rude and salty, so I'll downvote it, but I'll leave a comment being like "If you edit your post so it's more constructive and less salty, I'll change my downvote into an upvote."

BUT my issue is when people down vote things like a community post just to be a troll. I think people shouldn't be allowed to change their votes in certain areas of the Boards or even be allowed to vote in certain areas. Some people are just really negative for poor reasons. Maybe because they got banned or whatever it still shouldn't give them a right to be toxic or to troll a thread by using the down vote system.

The only reason I feel this way is because I have a post about a community that is really great and awesome people but it feels as though people are going so out of their way to down vote it that it isn't even giving the community a chance to grow. It just isn't fair to the people who spend days if not weeks committing to a community only to have a bunch of trolls come in and ruin it.
