Forum Level Detection Problem

Not sure if this should be here or in "Report a Bug," but here goes.

Quick Background: I used to play a lot of LoL, but eventually got burnt out and stopped playing almost entirely for about a year or so. Recently I've gotten back into it, but in order to ease myself back in and build up my knowledge and mechanics before being thrown in with experienced players, I created a new account, FistsofCurie, which is now level 16. Since that's the account I'm using most often now, I logged into the forums with it earlier and tried to make a new post, but got an error message telling me I had to be at least level 7 to create a new post. As I mentioned, that account is level 16, and has been above level 7 for weeks now, but the forums, for some reason, are refusing to recognize that. It's not a huge problem for me, since I can just log onto this account whenever I want to post something, but for new players who want to start participating in the community, this could be very frustrating. Anyone got any ideas as to what might be going on here?
