Firewall bug
So i was playing a few matches of LoL and suddenly i lose connection and it says my firewall is blocking LoL, i fiddled around with my firewall and it said everything was fine. What happened?

OMFG IT WONT LET ME RECONNECT BACK TO MY GAME AND I WAS IN B2 PROMO AND OF COURSE I WONT GET THE GAME REFUNDED...WTF RIOT
I think the in-game client and the regular client launch separately (one triggered by the other) as I always notice it opening up a new icon for games launching. Going by this, it would make sense that everything checked out fine after the match was already over and the in-game client closed. (I'm using client for a lack of more appropriate terminology)
I would recommend going through and making an exception for the entire folder/program in your firewall settings if you already haven't. Make sure you allow both the launcher and the actual game execute through the firewall.

Under the "Windows Firewall", click "Allow Program through Firewall"
If you don't use Windows or use a separate Firewall program, fiddle around or search the net for the process.

Sometimes a router messes with this as well, did you move your computer or get a new router recently that may conflict with something in a patch? I had the same problem before and I simply reset my router and that might have fixed it. I don't know exactly because it didn't happen every game and I could have just gotten lucky until the next LoL patch....

Okay I experienced this problem before, and I usually just disable my firewall completely during matches if this problem happens
Usually it just means that the client can't connect to the server for some reason, and they assume that it is the firewall.
Try disabling the firewall and maybe try reconnecting a couple of times...
Same here playing oriana ranked and had a great teamfight. We went for the nexus to end but suddenly i loose connection and can't reconnect. I find out that everyone in the game had the same problem. The game isn't even existing now... seriously riot?
Yea i had the same problem too but now it went away again i cant explain it
This is happening to me as well. I have no issues with any other games, however with LoL, sometimes after the champion select screen, it will kick me out of the game through no fault of my own and I am forced to either wait until the game finishes or be punished for "leaving" even though I didn't leave the game. The mechanism that Riot has placed into the game is very poor as it does not account for Riot's game crashes or bugs, such as those bugsplat messages that pop up all the time and crash the game.
