Match History- New Ideas and Additions

I'm just starting this thread to promote new ideas for the match history beta.

I tested it out today, pretty cool, very clean, and very informative. GJ Rito.

I'd just like to say that I would like a few things added/changed.

//Hover-Mouse-Over for Champion Kills Mini-Map.

If you could just display again who killed who in addition to the location       indicator

already in place, that might be a bit better.

//Click for Champion Kills Mini-Map.

You have this awesome system in-game where you can go over how much damage each champion did to the one that died, including which abilities were used. Is there any way of implementing that on the Champion Kills Mini-Map such that when a user clicks one of the dots, it tells you how the kill was made?

//I understand that the data for #2 probably isn't stored on your servers after each game, so it would probably be harder to implement. Look into it.

Hi

I would like to see/added some feature to the match history such as more filter such as Highest to lowest Kill. Maybe somewhere at the top you could have a kill/death and Assist ratio for a selected champion. A performance ratio that calculate number of game won, kill/death/assist ratio gold per minute for each champion.

When looking at detail of the match it could be interesting to be able to know at what time each item were purchase. Maybe giving us info such as at what time you reach a level (6-12-18).

Maybe a graph that enable you to compare your kill ratio vs someone in your friend list or in your clan/team.

All of this would give us even more info on our weakness. How efficient are we early, mid and late game. If we are improving technically speaking with a certain champion.

I've posted this before, but thought this would be a good place to bring it up as well!

  1. Damage Shielded: this displays damage done to your personal damage shields, and/or includes shields you put on others (either through items or abilities). This stat isn't reflected in the stats currently so people that put shields up aren't getting credit for their contributions to the team!

  2. Time inflicting crowd control on enemy champions: This could be before or after tenacity/mastery reduction. People aren't getting end-game credit for taking champions out of the game through CC!

  3. Structure Damage: getting the final blow on a tower or inhibitor is great and all, but the champ(s) that whittled it down should also get credit! Showing each champion's damage done to structures would help.

tldr; More Damage Shielded = more lives saved = winning. Inflicting CC on enemy champions = winning. Damaging structures = literally how you win the game. We should see these stats at the end of the game!

Thoughts?!

The match history has a map that has dropdown box with champion kills and building kills. I'd like to add champion assists to that box. And someone in a different thread said to also add champion deaths, so you can see where a particular champion's deaths occurred at.

Also, i'd prefer if the match history beta was displayed in the game client even if it is opened in a separate game client window, rather than the browser.

It also could be really great to have all items purchased. At the moment we got the final items, but it could be pretty cool to have the items timeline.

I really like this idea. Very subtle but great user interface. More of this please!

What could really help newer players learn characters would be to see an items purchased vs time stamp graph. Just click on a champ and you would be able to view how they built their champ. For those that see a summoner play a champ really well, they could learn from their build and understand why they build what in that specific order. This would exclude wards and pots most likely and could show when they sell an item too.

EX: Teemo build that lasted 28:00:

item 1056 >> item 1076 >>item 1028 >>item 3136 >>item 1001 >>item 1026 >>item 1058 >>item 3089 >>item 1028 >>item 3151 >>item 1026 >>item 1052 >>item 3135

Time stamps not necessary but an interesting idea.

This idea is similar to the money graph, and very related.
