Autoformatting issue?

I made a reply to this thread (http://community.na.leagueoflegends.com/c/ideas/q3ly0YNQ-searching-for-hat-in-the-shop-should-bring-up-rabadons-deathcap) where I tried to post a link. As you can see, no matter how I put it in it always put it right up next to the previous sentence. I tried it with two spaces and it still did it, and then I even put it on a new line and it stuck it ignored that, too. Is this a bug or "working as intended?"

Not working as intended.

I remember notifying Krylhos about this a while ago. Guess it didn't get fixed yet.

I recommend getting used to the formatted version of links that they have set up to display as text links. This, for example, would be the thread you linked. Much prettier to look at, no?

To get this, put brackets around the text that you want to appear as the link (in this case, [This, for example, would be the thread you linked].

Then right after that, put the URL inside parentheses.

But if you're trying to get a link to show up like this:

I just used a double-enter for that. Note that it is separated like a new paragraph, though. Alternatively, you could do space-space-enter to get text on the next line without going to a whole new paragraph:
