Non-Ranked Premade problem.

At least one person on each team, in each match loads in Lolnexus upon the game exiting the starting lobby.

For me, I keep finding that I am on a team composed of either two premades, or five entirely solo queue'd players -- Then I realize I am matched against either four premades, or two groups of duo premade.

Now, let me tell you why this sucks horribly-

  1. I feel a noticeable morale drop when I see the enemy team is comprised of multiple premade players (Even if I am the only person who utilizes Lolnexus on my team, it only takes one amazingly coordinated gank for everyone to realize they are playing against a premade team)

  2. I realize that if my team is made of three or more premade players that I will likely be verbally abused, ignored in my suggestions, or unassisted when I need help - And then I have to fear being reported by four people because they don't like that I didn't do every single thing they wanted exactly when they wanted me to

  3. When either my team, or the enemy team is comprised of mostly premade (especially 4/5 premade) it seems that the premades say "Hey, let's act like we all have brain damage and 'make a new meta!'" - which I know is encouraged by Riot, or at least not discouraged, but it's pretty lame when a match is thrown because everyone thinks they're a 'lel trolling smurf account who cares lol xD lawl troll plat v but I just don't care right now xD!'

Being that lolnexus appears to be absolutely unaffiliated with Riot and it's been able to do something pretty decent, can Riot not find a way to utilize what they've done, but better? Maybe make it so that during the lobby you can see who on both teams are premade?

All you'd really have to do is make it so that when it shows who is still choosing their characters there is a number, or a color assigned to the premades - and then reduce/remove the time pentalty for dodging matches when you decide you don't want to play with/against a team of premades?

It really can't be too difficult, considering LoL already utilizes a premade system before a match even goes to the beginning lobby, so all that is required is making the system more transparent.

I personally know I would much rather spend ten minutes getting into a game than to spend twenty minutes waiting to /surrender because my team isn't utilizing communication devices like skype/mumble/whatever while the enemy team is, or if my team is just 'lel who cares smurf account plat 1 xD lel try hards lets troll 4 mid new meta xD!'.

One of the main problems in your proposal is that it opens up a huge window for discrimination against premades with little to no knowledge of the actual individuals, which you yourself are trying to do. Not only is this in bad spirits, but it completely ignores the fact that you are speaking of the minority of premades. The majority play with others to avoid "trolling randoms" so that they have a better chance of winning (as you've pointed out with the opposing four man premades).

If you'd like another situation for a comparison, that's like asking Riot to undo our current inability to see other player's ping or, better yet, allow us to see it in Champ Select. Suddenly, anyone without a desirable internet connection has to deal with either a) Getting past champ select as people will dodge many times in a row just to not play with them or b)toxicity and blame towards them throughout the game even if they aren't the main reason for the loss.

Are you seeing the problem here? You're assuming the correlation equates to causation, when in reality you're just the unlucky minority. Keep a few things in mind.

  1. This will have a MAJOR impact on queue times, and getting through champ select will suddenly be a nightmare for anyone who simply wanted to duo queue with their friend.

  2. You're assuming the minority to be the majority, when this is in fact not true. The fact that someone is a premade trolled has little to do with the fact that they're premade (as this can happen with randoms as well)

  3. What you are trying to do is openly discriminate against a large portion of the League community for no reason other than your own personal biases from bad experiences.

If you're really that anal over being paired with premade players, then ask in the champ select log if they're premade and dodge the game if they are. And, FYI, just because a team is premade does not mean that they are using a means of communication other than in-game chat or that they even have experience playing together.

This is the exact reason I made the decision to stop using lolnexus. Yes lolnexus can give you good info but it seems like it's doing more bad then good just like it did for me. All it does is bring down your confidence because you always find a reason that you should be losing that game. Knowing that your in top and the other top laner and jungler are a premade loses you the lane before the game even starts because your creating fear where there wouldn't have been if you didn't use lolnexus. Another point i have is that it's not that hard to set up a perfectly coordinated gank if the jungler is somewhat competent. You also have to remember that if people go premade, they're playing for themselves not for you. When you play solo-queue, your going s o l o. Yes this is a team game, but it's hard to contribute to a team if YOU can't even do anything. If you lose your lane then that's your fault, not a premade on the other team. I play jungle quite a bit and sometimes i just decide to focus one single lane because i want to. Now you could use lolnexus to see if i was a premade with that laner but what does it matter? I'm still going to camp either way. My motto for league is "Deal with it". If you get a premade troll on your team then you just have to deal with it and try your best. League is a game of adapting to your team and the other. I'm sorry if this sounded mean and all over the place, I'm just trying to give you some advice that works for me. I am just a sliver newb so im not even that good at the game but this works for all tiers whether your in bronze V or in challenger. Hopefully this helps you a bit and i wish you the best of luck.

All Premades are scum, 100% scum rate. I have 100's of games played and never once had a good experience with a premade. You can't win with premades, no matter what happens it is all your fault. It is the #1 thing killing this game.
