Riot Pls - Griefing not mentioned

Riot Pls

I may be a "new" player with only ~500 hours of gameplay experience, but one thing is absolutely clear to me:

The #1 , without a doubt, most pressing issue with this game is toxicity, griefing, and trolling. It's by far the most common problem I encounter, and makes me wonder if I should continue playing on a daily basis.

You created "Riot Pls" with the intent of making it clear what you're working on, and what you're not working on, but improvements/replacements to the way griefing is handled is never mentioned a single time, anywhere.

Pre-game griefing needs hotfixed, not glossed over. Please try to focus on the millions of players, not just the top 0.1% who care that Ryze's base stats are 10 HP higher than they should be (or w/e).

I'm confident that I speak for millions of players of this game when I say that we'd like to see this improved, sooner rather than later, adequately rather than half-measures, and at the very least, we'd like to know that this is in progress now, not being put on a shelf for next year.

Thanks,

Ernaem

In lieu of or in conjunction with an actual pre-game report/vote-kick system, why not simply allow teams to gracefully withdraw from a game prior to commencing, so "dodging" is not the only way to counter pre-game griefing? (3/5 votes to gracefully withdraw, for example)

I understand that this could occasionally result in teams abandoning games with unfavorable matchups, but the drawback(s) of such a system would be dramatically outweighed by the various benefits of this functionality.

Ultimately though, there are dozens of good ideas floating around for ways to address this, and I would like to have faith that some of them are being considered. However, with no indication from Riot that this is happening, it's hard to have this faith, and every day that goes by (and every game that gets dodged/griefed/4v5'd) makes me reconsider whether or not League is a game I should be playing.

Please just throw us a bone, and tell us what your intentions are, so we don't have to live on hope and dreams.

I feel ya dealt with people like that on here for yrs and it definitely ruins the game experience, but don't let those people win by quitting, they sure as hell didn't start off top of their game, if you find it upsetting and trust me I know it can be then hit the tab button click the little (hmm is it a tiny thumbs up thing?) but there will be a button after there name you can click to ignore them, it makes the game a lot more peaceful and if you really want to annoy them tell them. " Welcome to my ignore list, enjoy your stay have fun ranting to yourself" haha and i know sometimes it 2 or more of them doing it and they are usually buddies put them all on ignore if your have to (hell I have put an entire team on it because they were buddies being a bunch of pricks)....and then once the games over report them for verbal harassment or whatever they were doing.

It seems like every time I hear anything about LoL that isn't from an official Riot source, the overwhelming toxicity of the game is mentioned.

I simply don't understand how something that everyone seems to be so keenly aware of doesn't even register as a blip on Riot's Radar - or at least a big enough one to mention in a blog specifically designed to talk about what they are working on or plan on working on in the near future.
