Season 2 forum badges

Hey folks,

I'm bothered by something. I reached Gold in Season 1, and got the forum badge for that. In Season 2, I again reached Gold, but forum badges were only given out to Plat and above. Season 3 lands, and Gold again is awarded a badge.

Were a newer player to look at my forum posts, he would see that I reached Gold in Seasons 1 and 3, and assume I did nothing in Season 2, despite having actually maintained a consistent level of play. Has there been any thought on retroactively filling in that awkward gap?
