Someone people explain to me how this lame Ranked System works please, I made it out of Bronze in Season 3, and got placed in Bronze for Season 4, people in Challenger got placed lower then Plat/Gold... I think Riot needs to fix their system, or they will lose a lot of players. That's my personal opinion.

Placement matches use those 10 games as a basis on your initial placement, it is specifically not meant to place you where you may deserve to be because it's near impossible to prove your true skill in the short span of 10 matches.
Keep in mind who plays ranked right off the bat like this, people who care where they are placed and play to win, and play hard. At least the majority of people who start this early. That'll skew the average skill level far from what you're used to mid-season.

It's actually really easy to make this placement system more accurate. They just have to change some numbers in formula but they chose to make more money instead of being fair.

They get money off of skins, e-sports and other such things, the game itself is free. Honestly between servers and maintenance more players actually means it costs them more. Take a moment and breath, maybe into a brown paper bag, and actually think about what your posting for a second.
Not to mention, you've been complaining for the last hour in several different posts about being placed into Silver II. The last few posts I've visited would be a hell of a lot happier there instead of Bronze V.

Sir ArmaMalum2 votesIn a large statistical sense, yes 0 people playing LoL means a hell of a lot less money than millions, but any sensible person would take a step back and realize that a post and a few comments crying "Down with LoL!" will do absolutely nothing in the long run, even if anyone actually listened to it. The sole reason I'm hitting back is because it's entertaining as hell and as I've said before I'm an active member of this community. I didn't come on just to smack your comments down, I was on here anyway and replied to comments I felt were outlandish and false. To achieve this goal they come up with various strategy. ONe of them is to put players purposely into lower leagues to make them play more games. REmember more games = more money. REmember the goal of riot is to make money. Placement matches affect millions of players.They can control placement ranking with a simple adjustment in the mathematical formula. Why in the world would they miss an opportuniy to make more money?
Scottishhound2 votessorry have to respond here, more people playing will make riot more money since in theory they will all buy skins or spend money to get the characters they want. however once those players have those skins and characters they dont spend more money. which means they still need more players. on the flip side of that more GAMES =/= more money. it equals a higher strain on the servers and then in turn more lag time, longer load times, longer log in ques ect. this hurts the game. riot spends money on upgrading servers to accommodate more players.
in the long run making money is determined by how many players they can bring in not how many games they are playing, at least not at the ranked level. by the time your ranked you can assume that most people will have spent the money on characters their good with and the skins they want for them. now if riot was making a way for players at lower levels to play more games say in the normal matches such as removing toxic players from the community (the likely reason your post on their financial state that no one ever saw was removed)then it would mean more players reaching enough involvement with the game to want to spend money.
see in reality the only time ranked players matter in terms of making money is when they release new content that the ranked players want to spend money on. and has no bearing on how many games a ranked player plays.

A lot of people got carried just camped at T5 in alot of divs. If anybody gets placed in Bronze, they probably deserve it.
I've seen atleast 10 "Gold" players go 2-10 on their Provi's and say 'This is BS! I was gold last season, I should be in gold!'
MackleDoge1 votesExactly. Besides, look at it this way, if someone was gold last season and they lose all 10 of their placement matches, how do they still deserve to be in gold? They belong in bronze for their placement. If the OP belongs in Silver, he'll be able to play up out of Bronze.

Sir ArmaMalum1 votesI halfway agree with this, a lot of people expect to be right where they left off, but it doesn't work like that. Pros aren't going to be placed into challenger right off the bat, that's like a team walking into a tourny and being handed the trophy before their first game, you gotta work to hold your place. But there are some people who are winning 7 or 8 of their placements and still being placed into bronze IV or III which I think sucks because they, on paper, did what they could and is still stuck in bronze.
Scottishhound1 votesi honestly think that your placement takes into account your K/D/A spread for all your placement games too. not sure if it takes into account that you are playing a specific role though. as likely if it doesn't then tanks and supports get placed lower since they tend towards less kills and more deaths with high assist rates. mostly cause they are targets for the opposing teams. and dont tend towards high damage output.
The Moisturizerr2 votesI'm just confused because i was silver 1 at the end of preseason, in my placement matches i played literally ALL gold/plat and some diamond players...i was literally the only silver player i played with, and i went 6-4 and still got moved down to silver 4, just curious how that works out
