RIOT GETTING DDOS'D

Earlier, I spent hours going over both forums and comment sections of posts. I saw a lot of user feedback about the DDoS'ing going around, espesh with the company that provides protection against DDoS'ing getting hacked themselves.. Apparently, a lot of the lag has been said to be the result of hackers TRYING to hack our servers, and not getting through, but disrupting the servers enough to actually lag users out. I'll explain my scenario next as to why I even bothered to ask, but it's just a question. Not freaking out, but I still can't get back into my game. It just continues to crash.

At first I only got stuck in champ select. It said 'Game Starting', everything was locked in, masteries, runes, everything, but nobody was typing back. I figured it was just me and closed the client, relaunched it, and found that 2 others weren't connected to the game either. They got connected about 10 mins in, and another 5 mins in, one of them goes 'uh oh, wait lag' and he disconnects. Next thing you know, I start 'Attempting to reconnect'.

Anyway, hope others can offer some feedback via the poll or comments section. This server issue has been on-going for weeks now and it's really awful sometimes.
