How do I "pin" a thread?

Does anyone know how you pin a thread on this beta site? Or better yet, how to receive a notification for comments on a thread?

Hi Vengeance, pinning of threads is an action only admins can take. If you want to tell us more about what you're trying to accomplish we may be able to figure out another way to help.

As for notifications, you'll receive them automatically whenever someone replies to you in a discussion or on a discussion you have created. You will not receive them however if another player responds to an existing comment that isn't yours.

Could we consider this a request for the ability to 'subscribe' to threads? (receive notifications for all replies in them) ;)

I agree; this feature is common on forums and is really useful if you do't have time to dig through everything to find one thread, only to have no new posts in it.

The idea of subscribing or 'favoriting' has actually been asked for pretty much since I started on the CB. I can imagine it being a complicated feature to implement, and they gotta make sure the basics work (look, links, and the like) but by no means are you all alone on wanting this.

Notifications are enough to me

But unless someone replies directly to you, or you are the owner of the thread... you won't get a notification. It'd be nice to get notifications if you are actively involved in the discussion and someone raises a point that you'd like to respond to in a new post... well then you'll have no idea unless you are consistently checking that thread. It doesn't have to be a big huge thing that tells you every time someone posts and all that. It could just be something like 'Thread has X new posts since you've last checked it."

Pinning a thread I believe is reserved to moderation and staff, but notifications can be found on your player profile card up there (see: http://puu.sh/ae6ty/93fb9b1528.jpg)
