Can't see who a person is quoting?
With the old GD is showed who you were quoting
now all we get it this thing
Can you please add a way to see who a person is quoting.

Pretty sure they are already working on this.
It's an especially serious problem on new GD, with the forced chronological view you can't flip to discussion view to go find the information.
There are two different views available. You can switch between them at the top left corner of the comments section.
Chronological view is the same kind of view as vBulletin (old forums). GD is locked to this.
Discussion view is Reddit-style nested comments.
Unfortunately replies via discussion view do not 'proc' a quote in chronological view, causing a lot of confusion between those who use one or the other exclusively. This is being actively worked on and i known to the Boards team I can assure you.
Is there no way to see quote trees ala Reddit? I swear I've seen it a couple times on Boards but then it just doesn't happen the rest of the time. So confused.
The best way to do it is to add it yourself... Simply using the greater than sign (>) in front of the line and you go into quote mode, so just add the person's name to the top with > in font of it.
Example:

Well, I'd rather get something half-assed tomorrow and something awesome a day later than normal.
