I'm more impressed by the Jarvin's quick thinking to trap someone in with baron and flashing out of his cataclysm to net the kill.

Yeah, the JarvanIV / Nami lockdown to keep Blitzcrank and Elise in the Baron pit and split the fight really gave Akali the breathing room she needed to set up those first two kills

Akali is extremely well balanced.

The enemy team messed up hard, especially that Zed.

If Zed had stayed near his team, he probably still would've died but akali would've instantly died as well because her shroud wouldn't have saved her with all the pinks around the pit.

You not knowing how to play against her doesn't make her OP.

Half says she's broken(not true before level 6,get a decent cs lead over her,understand how her abilities work and KNOW HOW NOT TO FEED..that zed gave her an escape after zonya)...all that aside that play may have been good on Akali's part but note the nami bubble stopping the cc on her and the J4 setting up the kills

braum is indeed op. jax requires certain conditions to do well. kassadin is an annoyance, but like a shaco, it requires skill and can be countered fairly well.

one of Akali's greatest strengths is she is rarely played so everyone forgets how to counter her. Those of us that play her like it that way:D.

Not that people forget, its just take a team to shut her down. Not having good team work and understand is what she needs to have a good game. Usually the teams blame mid for feeding and that's it, the reason its risky to play her higher up is that good teamwork is more common.

True, but often even if the team comes together and takes her out, they are fighting at low hp against the whole other team. All Akali has to do is get adc to low health and her team can then clean up the kills easy.

Lol, seriously? The entire enemy team missed their crowd control, didn't get vision, and got split up by the Jarvan and Nami on Akali's team while tanking massive amounts of damage from baron. Akali burned everything, flash, Zhonya's, all of her ult stacks, and barely lived after Nami used Crucible and Heal on her and you think that Akali is broken? Let me know when you make it out of Wood VII.

She has really weak pre 6 in lane with almost no poke or all in potential, in team fights she gets shut down by sweeping lenses or pink ward or any stealth reveled ability, she also have problem with disengaging, she can only go in with no ways of going out. If she gets ahead and focus the right target she is a really good assassin but she is not reliable in many ways

iirc item 3364 only works on wards and traps, not champions.

You upgrade it at lvl 9 and then it can see stealth from champions.

A well played Fizz can shut her down early

Any tanky champion will prevent her from snowballing in lane.

Ziggs is really strong against her.

Lux is really strong against her.

Syndra is really strong against her.

Leblanc basically hard counters Akali even without the silence because she out bursts her and can trade with W and blink out before akali can even answer back.

Kayle beats her in lane for obvious reasons.

Lulu is extremely strong against her, so is Soraka (silences shut down Akali's trading potential.)

Malzahar destroys akali because he can constantly keep her under turret and at 6 if she tries to all in you then she will die to your combo.

Do I need to keep going?

Wards around the map to prevent her from getting easy kills from roaming (this is what most people fail at).

Always have pink wards/oracle lens in teamfights and then hard CC akali and blow her up the moment she goes in.

Without jungler presence Fizz has no chance against Akali in lane if Akali is not a noob.

Fizz can instanburst akali in lane EASY. He can farm so much easier then she can too and he has 2 aoe abilities if Akali hides in her bubble. It is a skill matchup, youre arguement is null and item 3135
