Welcome to the Big Plays Spotlight! In this feature, we highlight the most epic plays, from meticulously-coordinated early tower dives to mind-blowing cross-map jukes.

After a skirmish gone wrong, the surviving members of purple team scatter in retreat. But not all hope is lost: Translogic and kfo, two Challenger-ranked players, spot an opportunity for redemption. With Riven barreling toward her, Syndra baits three enemies into a bottleneck. As soon as the Dark Sovereign funnels her foes into prime position, she unleashes a setup stun to prep her ally for a blistering, three-champ demolition.

It's nice to see these kind of snapshots of cool moments once in a while but does it always have to be from the Koreans? I don't know but it feels a little biased because there are some really crazy moments happening all the time in many places but they are getting most of the spotlight already, I know that statistically there are more professional players from around the Asian region but it shouldn't always be the deciding factor. item 2010 food for thought?

I kind of find this perturbing and somewhat racist. It doesn't matter where the plays come from, we are all summoners here. regardless of where it came from this was an epic play! Rito doesn't secretly spectate to catch snap shots, if you see any you'd like to post by all means do so! I don't even think that they put race into the equation when deciding the plays to spotlight. Imo, the implication is that since riven's Q requires high mechanical skill to make flashy plays with, it is expected that some really nice Qs would end up on the "Big Plays" list instead of a play like this. Therefore, (s)he is pleasantly surprised. This doesn't seem salty to me at all. And since when does being a kid have anything to do with being toxic? Adults can be toxic too...

Sometimes I wonder how many of these were really good plays or just the kind of awesome thing that happens from time to time but the higher players know how to capitalize? I mean, the position Syndra was in she really had no other way to run unless she went towards the enemy team. A Q + E is standard to escape so basically it was just Riven seeing the opportunity to flash stun R. That's my perspective, especially if this was soloqueue

Hrm... I really do question whether this is a 'big play' simply because there's not much info to go off of, sure its an excellent display of co-ordination and snap decision making, things critical to good plays, but without proper info, a map, or anything of the like, all I see is a nicely timed Wombo, which I am fairly certain DOES happen all the time... I want to know if purple was behind and this put them back in, or if they used this play to secure an important objective, or if this started the snowball to winning the game.

Hey, Overlord! Whenever I have that info, I make sure to include it because that sort of stuff definitely makes the play way more meaningful.

In this case, I didn't have the details, but I thought the play was worth sharing nonetheless. I would've loved to know if purple team was 5k down or something like that. My detective work only goes so far. :D

I don't remember Syndra's spheres being so red. Can someone explain to me what that's about?

I don't really play her, but I know that whenever you max one of her abilities, the animations of that ability turn from purple to red (to indicate her passive). I don't know why exactly the orbs themselves were red, though...

If you're playing as Syndra, her spheres are blue, but if you're against her, they are much redder.

This is so Syndra players can keep track of their spheres. :)

Oh yes, its still very good play to share, the timing and co-ordination is something low ranked players have dreams about being able to do properly (Even better with randoms), definitely no hate from me.

As nice as the pentakill was, I must admit that was the most about it. While pentakills are rare, they are just a last hit and what this vid looked like to me was a fed zed going ham on the enemy team that was about 2-3 levels lower than him across the board. Now, had it been the other way, one of the purple team getting a pentakill on **your **team, that would be a play because it would take a lot of coordination and skill to win that sort of fight.
