Riot with us at live events!

RiotPreeti·Jul 1, 2014·38 votes·173,010 views

The North American League community spans both coasts and everywhere in between, which means we don’t get many chances to connect with you guys in real life. Queuing up together is fun, but we want to meet up, geek out over League, and see the talent behind each cosplay!

Events are also a unique way for us to give you a closer look at how League is developed, feature live art demos, host game design panels, and honor our favorite cosplay, video, and artistic creations.

Because the League community’s super important to us, we love getting content creators involved in our events. At our PAX East booth earlier this year, Instalok and blakinola debuted their newest music videos, and The Yordles performed live on stage. We even convinced Sky to shoutcast Riot versus community games and perform standup!

To make it easier for you guys to attend one of our live events, we’re planning even more of them. We’ve already hit up Boston, Chicago, and Atlanta, but we’re not done! Here’s where we’re headed for the rest of the year:

Anime Expo (Los Angeles, CA)	July 3-6
GaymerX (San Francisco, CA)	July 11-13
Fan Expo Canada (Toronto, Canada)	August 28-31
PAX Prime (Seattle, WA)	August 28-September 1
Dragoncon (Atlanta, GA)	August 29-September 1
Comikaze Expo (Los Angeles, CA)	November 1
BENT-CON (Los Angeles, CA)	November 7-9

Don’t think you can join us for an event? Follow our live coverage on Tumblr and Twitter. Also, if there’s a convention you think we should attend next year, drop us a comment below!

Hawaii and Alaska never get love from anything :( except tourists.

TamatJul 2, 201412 votes

I'm from Alaska, and have always wanted to bring some League of Legends back home. Unfortunately, there aren't any shows (that I know of) that would make sense for us to go to. :(

Canada, the Southern United States and the East Coast in general are all areas we want to hit more meaningfully next year. Trust me, many Rioters (myself included) are East coast transfers. We intimately understand the frustration of missing out on things like Prime, Blizzcon and many other amazing con experiences due to financial constraints or simple geographic proximity.

This year we hit up PAX East in Boston, Momocon in Atlanta and are still slated to revisit Atlanta for Dragoncon and Toronto for Fan Expo. While that's technically 4 cons on or near the East Coast, you're right in that it still doesn't provide an easily accessible con for everyone and our work is far from done.

With all that said I think this is an extremely valuable conversation to have and the feedback is very welcome. One of the things that makes the League of Legends community unique is how passionate we all our when it comes to meeting in real life to celebrate the game. Whether it be at a Con, an LCS viewing party, as a member of a collegiate club or even participating in a tournament, finding ways to offer these experiences in some shape or form to every player in North America is something we're always working towards.

You all should hold an event in lexington,ky. Albiet its a small convention But KentokyoCon is having it's second convention and it would bolster the league community here in ky. It doesnt have to be a large event, you all could send a few peopleto colaborate an event with us. Iam not a streamer or some diamond/plat/contender player, iam just your average joe on league, and I want the others in the community to be able to enjoy riot events a bit closer to home, since alot of us are college/high school students or work to much to travel or just can't afford it. Please consider KentokyoCon as a venue.
