Big Plays: Xerath saves the day

Welcome to the Big Plays Spotlight! In this feature, we highlight the most epic plays, from meticulously-coordinated early tower dives to mind-blowing cross-map jukes.

With his teammates dead and four members of the enemy team staggering across the finish line, maineimeizNeyuba—a Plat IV player on Xerath—Homeguards into action.

In a tactical misplay, the blue team ignores Xerath, rushing to end the game in one final push. After an easy first kill, Xerath forces Vi and Jinx to the left side of the nexus, where he safely unleashes tons of damage upon them. A scorching Arcanopulse ends Jinx’s nexus assault in a flash, crushing the blue team’s hopes for victory.

Whether you’re a team on the cusp of victory or the Emperor of Shurima, one truth remains constant: don’t ever underestimate Xerath.

We’d love to feature your biggest plays, so post a link in the comments below or submit your clip here!

I'm sorry but I don't see the play here they didn't even bother Xerath and they were just focusing the nexus which allowed him to take them down with his range the only person who even hit him was a no damage tank Thresh no offense I <3 thresh favorite support who was the only one left and by the time they got to the nexus most was half health sorry riot but maybe you should go out and find plays sometimes if your not getting much good ones sent in.

This, Gnar's play and Yasuo's. "Welcome to the Big Plays Spotlight! I just don't feel these plays are so amazing that they need to be featured on the website. My opinion whether you agree or disagree

I did that in a provisional once but I don't think it counts cuz it was a provisional and people in my range usually suck.

Again, another great demonstration of skill, ability and keeping a cool head in an awful situation. STILL not what big plays are about, TEAMWORK is a PLAY, this is just Xerath getting a quadra. It seems like in the same way that Rito just makes updates that favor competition and "viability of champions" in competitions, that is also their stance in what a PLAY is, just one persons glory not a TEAM working as a whole.

REWATCH THIS! Jinx doesn't even try to dodge the skill shots she just takes it to the face like a LOSER ... big plays more like big throws

Reminds me of the last of my 10 ranked matches in LAN, when my team had 3 afks and i hold 35 minutes with Xerath being supported by Soraka, until we finally lose :P
