This is me being perma banned and I'm looking to the community to see if I was overly toxic? Both games the ADC afked. Thanks and have a great day guys and gals! :) Edit: Thank you for taking your time out of your day and reading this! You all are being very helpful with me trying to figure out where I went wrong. If I do ever play again I hope to have solved all issues. As this was a pretty big loss $300 and 4 years. I was pretty emotionally invested into the game which probably caused problems.

I'd probably report cuz ur spamming like fuck, and being negative. One or two comments here or there doesn't bother me. But people who won't shut the fuck up and play annoy me.

Nah I didn't mean you were cursing. Most folks don't care about that. Hell, Riot curses in their official stuff and so do some of their champions.

Everyone is different though. Some will report for minor things, some have a higher tolerance.

No. That was not report fishing. That was legit our adc afk in base for 5 min then comes back to start a /ff vote. We all decline he afks again. However he afked by running in base every 2 min to not get banned. :)

Hmm. I didn't realize that was a reportable offense when it was an accurate request to all chat. I even made this comment to calm down my team cause we were all upset (can we just all report him and give him that 2 week). They were flaming pretty hard and I recognized this game was over. Edit: Also since this case would not be picked up automatically I thought recruiting the other team would help.

How accurate the statement, does not contribute to the determination of if it is punishable. Asking someone to report someone else is just as much breaking the rules as the rules you are asking them to be reported for regardless of accuracy. The general rule of thumb is how likely is that player or others in your game are to find it offensive, and specifically are you talking about yourself or others. To clarify who started it (defensive/offensive) is irrelevant (along with accuracy of the statement), it is the nature in how you say it and if the majority of the community sees it as unacceptable. It is not the words we use that gets us punished but the context in which we use them. Are you trying to hurt someone with your statement, or are they and others likely to see it that way. Bad words are allowed but actively trying to hurt others is not.

A few examples of some commonly perceived offensive words used in an appropriate manor that in theory should not get you punished are listed below with the common word that players get banned for using (in a different context) in bold. I hope the examples explain the difference between communicating using controversial terms and making statements with an intent of causing an unpleasant gaming atmosphere.

(I use potentially offensive language not to belittle or disparage those who are different from myself but too illustrate a point.)

(could be used if you tried to flash over a wall and don't do it as intended)

While camping I will collect a fⓐggot (branch or twig, or bundle of these) for our camp fire.

(could be used to answer a question of "I want smores why are you not buying firewood for our camping trip?")

(could be used to answer a question of "I heard you have a history report on Benjamin Franklin due on Friday, did you make sure to include his contributions to science?)

The amount of times an account showed a false positive due to context is very low, I only know of 1 case. In that case a player was constantly flaming. But they were flaming themselves (and no one else) in reference to the champion they were playing. While in theory what you said could have been contextually appropriate the odds are very low.

Yeah I'd report you.

Everybody has times where they want to call out their teammates for playing badly. I do it probably once or twice per game but you're seriously taking it to another level by continuously harassing people with messages. I can ignore someone who just calls me out on being shit once or twice and then leaves it at that. Sometimes you have to tell somebody that they're making bad plays or CSing badly or whatever to try to get them to correct the problem. Sometimes when you're pissed that will end up sounding insulting. It happens to the best of us.

What you're doing is constantly berating somebody over and over and over and over again until everybody in the game is sick of your crap. There is calling somebody out on bad play, and then there is blatant harassment.

I'd report for calling your team idiots. Don't do that in game chat. I understand sometimes they actually are idiots, in that case say it out loud to yourself instead. It's how I haven't gotten banned in my 4-5 years here. Also, the constant "gg wp", "it's game", etc, ESPECIALLY when lane phase isn't even over gets extremely annoying, and I would report that for negative attitude every time.

Only for the first game would I MAYBE report you, if your adc had as little damage as you say, then no, I wouldnt report. As for the second game, nah, I wouldnt report for that. Hope this helps a bit, have a wonderful day!

Well she ended the game with 6.9k total damage done and i did 7k on sight stone locket thresh... Game 1 ashe adc had approx 1300 gold and bought boots a crit fist(forgot the name) and 2 attack speed daggers. lol I mean oh well games over. Accounts over :( feels bad

I mean I've been told to KMS on multiple occasions (only time i report for verbal abuse) and have had countless people afk and int in my games. Usually I don't report people who trash talk because I don' t see it as that severe. I wanted to know how the community felt. Thanks :-)

If you remake an account remember the grind from 1-30 is much smaller. I recommend playing the free to play champions and just saving influence points for runes at 30.

Try and imagine the other side, I play as my name implies the same thing every game (570k+ mastery). When I queue up for a normal blind pick and players spam too report me all game it becomes harassment (even though I broke no rule and they misunderstand the rules). If you want to report someone do so without announcing it or asking for others to do it because 1 report or 9 results in the same amount of pressure from the automated system. Asking for the report does nothing except cause frustration, distraction, and the chance you will be reported.

Regularly for years I am told nearly every game I'm reported and will be banned. I have gotten no such ban but watched 3 separate messages appear that a player I reported was punished. I would much prefer to argue my point with them and not report but that would get me banned so I am bound to settle my disagreement in the manner which riot dictates.

In the future just report under "Leaving the game/AFK" and provide details to help them improve the system. Also you might try under "Unsportsmanlike conduct" for griefing and provide details about how they through the game on purpose. Players do get banned for the behaviors you explained. Make sure they do not take you with them.

The difference is your getting flamed for your pick. I was asking for a report for a person who is intentionally losing the game by not playing. And the way he is doing it is undetectable by the auto leaver buster. He legit lost me my first game back from my 2 week ban. Riot tested me and i failed. GG Ez. I was permad within 3 games of my 2 week ban being over. These are the only chat logs from my reported games. I did not realize that what had said was that toxic. Now I know if I do ever return to this game.

I understand that however I just said no ad? then told him not to trade.(He bought boots, "crit fist" and 2 attack speed daggers first back) He then proceeds to try to all in the jhin with dirk. My team was flaming him later on about his cs and I made the comment about cannons cause Everytime i pinged for me to get them he didn't let me. Then proceeded to tell me I was the reason he was behind cs and that I was stealing them with brace. I was pretty triggered because of that.
