Implement a system to dodge ranked queues without punishment due to players holding select hostage.

When you're in champ select in ranked and someone decides to troll, you cant report them for doing so, So either you risk it and try to win with someone against you, or you dodge and lose LP that you worked for. Some kind of system would be nice to have in place so if someone trolls or something in ranked there would be a way to dodge freely or remake freely in game even if the troll hasn't disconnected. Anything really, I just hate losing LP to trolls and getting punished when i try to leave select because i want to play seriously.

I had leaverbuster timers for 20 minutes, Yes i deserved them due to getting tilted in game and leaving, So there was no way i could dodge without losing LP and having to wait another 20 minutes after i sat for 25+. What i'm saying is there needs to be a system, something in place to help with this, Maybe something like CS:GO's Vote to kick system. Here is an idea, So long as there isn't a 3 man, it only requires 3/4 other players in the queue to dodge ( I'm talking about Flex right here) And in Solo/Duo if there was a duo or even 2 it would need to be 3/4 (If there was only 1 duo) and 4/4 (if there were 2) Now if the player is trolling with a friend, So 2 people are trolling/holding a game hostage, It would be different. The Game would need to analyze who the team members were trying to kick in select. If it shows that they are part of a duo then only 3 votes would be needed. There are several other factors involved in this, I understand this could be abused if you wanted to play something Off meta, There would need to be something set in place for this reason.

I'm asking the community has a whole, Come forth and help with this thread and get it noticed and even help by giving me some edits to implement with this system.

Dodge was made to lessen the impact champ select trolls have. Also, you have to realize that dodging after the free one is perfectly fine: what matters in climbing is mmr, not lp. I agree that it's annoying that these people receive no consequences when you dodge, but Riot gave a simple but effective way to not deal with these players. Don't fall into the mentality that you have to finish the game to report them. It's bad for your mental health.

Instead of trying to grind, go for win streaks to climb. If you lose more than twice, it's not your day. Winning more gives more lp in the long run and more mmr.

3 LP dodge penalty is almost nothing for a statistical anomaly in your games.

If this happens every 20 games (a pretty high amount for this to happen), that’s a net 0.15 LP loss per game.

If you get 20 LP per win and lose it per loss (we will be perfectly ideal here), that’s only a 0.37% higher winrate you need to make up for it.

To make up for that loss, you would only need to win one extra game in 240 played games.

Chances are you aren’t climbing with a 50.37% winrate, it’s probably closer to 52-53% or more if you’re winning constantly.

Even if it’s every 10 games (a VERY high amount), it’s still only 0.75%. Only one extra win every 120 games needed.

It’s an anomaly. I’m going to assume this happened in your last game and you’re angry about it. Hey, it’s fine to rant, but at least end your post saying it just happened to you or “this is a rant, sorry guys” so we know. No issue here.
