Why are intent feeders never banned?

Why does it take riot around 50 games for an intent feeder to feed for them to ban them? I have had a J4 on my team intent feed and my teammates said they played with this guy back a while intent feeding the same way. Why is riot so slow to ban intent feeders? Cant the system tell apart a running down mid intent feeder troll aside from a regular player doing bad? Is it that hard?

It's understandably hard to detect. I'm sure none of us would want to fear being banned for "intentional feeding" for simply having a terrible game.

Riot could certainly do a better job of enforcing it, but in the meantime, it IS something that people get punished for. You're just more likely to see chat behavior bans, since those are really easy to identify.

Why do you think it takes around 50 games for int feeders to get banned? They don't do it immediately because it's harder to detect than toxic chat is. It could just be a series of bad games.

The "just a bad game" excuse. Riot does not want to risk punishing players for having terrible games.
