Support Singed vs. 0 Damage Trynd

If you browse r/LeagueofLegends on the front page the other day, there was this video. This is what's known as 0 damage Tryndamere. The idea is, you do no damage to any of the enemies and you just attack towers. You don't help out your team, and because of the 0 damage aspect, you don't use your E to escape. This usually ends up in people feeding.

What's interesting to me, is that people seem to be trying 0 damage Tryndamere in games, and thinking it's really funny and fun. Even to have Dyrus, former Top lane for TSM trying it on stream. You can see it here. In the clip in that Reddit thread, you can se that Dyrus is trolling, even at the end, he said he game was bugged. League is known for having all sorts of bugs, but this was not the case.

Yet when it comes to 0 damage Trynd, the community (at least on Reddit) is fairly supportive. Yet when it comes to Support Singed, the community was/still is split. So why is Support Singed (I'm not in favor of either of these strats) considered trolling and 0 damage Trynd not? Would be interested in your input.

Riot's stance (and my stance as well), was that it wasn't the Support Singed that made what that one person did trolling. He wasn't trolling at all in fact.

What he was doing was completely disregarding the wishes of his teammates and forcing everyone else on his team to try and adapt to a very unique play-style.

That's not trolling in my book, but still something I don't want in one of my games. To troll is to act in a way that deliberately annoys or angers someone.

Edit: Nvm, after watching the video, this seems like a troll post. Even the video creator said not to do this and he would report you for it.

Both are trolling.

I would absolutely report a clown that thought it was ok to troll (aka pick support singed).

So after reading this thread. I can report anyone for not playing a character I think is appropriate and if you play support you're not the teams support you're bottoms and don't piss them off or you can get banned for not playing how they want you to play.

I guess I'll be playing sona mid and adc more to test this.

No, that dyrus video was trolling and intentially dying. The idea of 0 damage tryndamere is that you don't go for kills, you only try to split push and take towers, which is a good strategy for him.
