Verbal abuse is worse than inting

One is literally destroying for others ingame and one is a muteable hatecrime?

The league community is known for being the toxic sludge it is today and riot are handing out bans like candy for "saying mean things :(" there are 2 reasons you should be allowed/able to get a little toxic each game and these 2 are:

  1. Mute button, a button which mutes a certain player.

  2. A fRIGGING language filter

edit. " im stupid and the title is ironic" I think that verbal abuse shouldnt be punishable

Both is bad. Inting gets a instant 14 day ban, flaming a chat restriction, except if its racism/hatespeech stuff. Thing is flaming is much easyer to automatically detect.

It isn't a measure of what's more toxic... It's a measure of what IS toxic.

The only glaring difference is that one is harder to decipher. There's sometimes very little difference from a game where the player just (for no better way of putting it) fucking blew ass, and a game where they're clearly hard/soft inting.

But people flaming the ever-loving fuck out of their teammate or the entire game as a whole is very easy to see.

This is in regards to the automated systems they use...honestly in cases you feel people are inting, I'd say it's probably best to file a support ticket for a manual review. Let them view the replay, and they'll very easily spot the difference between "I'm playing, but I'm bad" and "trololol, ima steal my jungler's blue and run it down top!"

nah inting is worse. I can mute verbal abuse. I can't mute inting.

I disagree, inting is much worse. Thats why inting has a minimum punishment of a 14 day ban, while toxicity's minimum is a measly 10 game chat restrict.

and one shouldn't be punishable because it can be negated. You cant negate the affects a troll/inter has on a game
