Honestly, does anyone ever get punishment when they spend an entire game berating another player?

Maybe we'd have a better community if there was something done about those who make the game more stressful and frustrating for others.

Even if you're winning a game and carrying a team, there is always someone who is willing to just tear into you. There's no reason for it. When I see people do that to others, I try to calm them down and stop them, but sometimes it doesn't matter. I feel bad for those players who are already doing poorly but are just being attacked by their own team. If Riot wants this to be more focused on the teamplay element of league, then maybe cracking down on those who contribute to this unhealthy environment would help.

You're in the PB&M boards. Look around and you'll see people complaining that they got banned for telling people that (quote time) "you're a useless fucking piece of shit who needs to fucking hang yourself so the gene pool with be free from your incsestual disgust". That was a few months ago, and guy honestly believed that muting meant no reports.

If you check this section of the boards, you will find MANY players getting punished for their harrasment of other players.

Well the problem with your post is that you assume that the players who are toxic aren't punished. Unless you're telling me you actively stalk every player who has ever crossed you.

It takes a few reports to get it rolling but they do get punished. A cursory reading of the Player Behavior & Moderation board usually shows a few threads of people saying how they got banned. Usually it's accompanied by how "unjust" the ban was.
