@Riot: How does board moderation, specifically reports, work?

Honestly pretty curious. Partly because I'm tired of having to report complaining threads on Concepts and Creations for incorrect board, partly because I don't think it's explained anywhere else.

What happens when a post is reported? Do multiple reports increase priority in a queue? I'm noticing that if I report, then refresh, I can click report again. Does this do anything? Are there certain types of reports that get answered faster, like Offensive reports over Harassment reports?

Your answer would be appreciated. Thanks for keeping the boards as clean as you can.

Reporting something multiple times does absolutely nothing. Once something is reported, it goes into our queue to review and a moderator reviews it and decides if it breaks any of the Universal Rules/section Guidelines. If it's something that's borderline, we'll review it as a group and if we can't come to a clear consensus we'll escalate it to a Rioter to make a call on.

If it's dismissed as acceptable, future reports do nothing. If multiple people report it at the same time, it still only shows up in our system once and there's no change to how it appears to us. In other words, multiple reports do nothing on our end. This is because either it's not allowed or it is. If lots of people simply don't like something, that's what the downvote button is for, not the report button. In fact, in extreme cases we've had to warn people about abusing the report system simply because they disagreed with people.

All reports go to the same queue and are reviewed as quickly as possible, so there is no priority of one type of report over another. We can see the text of a reported post from the queue so if something jumps out as extremely inappropriate, we can remove it the moment we see it even if other things are ahead of it. Even if there are a lot of things in our queue at a given time due to high traffic on the Boards, we can always have multiple people reviewing if necessary to ensure things are handled in as timely a manner as possible.
