I've been playing alot of top morde recently. And I've noticed after I take the tower I get stuck in what to do next. i end up just running mid or bot doing nothing. meanwhile enemy top laner gets my tower. I'm in gold and I just want some advice on what I am suppose to do after I take top. what am I suppose to be looking for to help my team. Also what are the big no no's when I'm in the lead? Thank you for your help.

Morde isnt the best split pusher but if you can duel anyone in the game you should keep pressuring. NEACE has a great splitpush guide on his youtube channel if you want to check it out. Getting dragon then bot tower would also be efficient.
you should gank bot if they didn't lose hard, push the bot tower and get drag control. Then you try to get the mid outer tier if its not down already. After the outer tier is down u take control of enemy jungle and all the drags and baron using wards and sweeper. Then every time you force a fight for drag or baron you can win the fight and push more towers. If they don't contest the objectives they just slow lose. Anytime you can get a pick during this time you should be able to push towers or go for the herald or baron. Hell, you could probably get the herald right after you win your lane and just bring it mid to push the most stubborn outer tier, and the tier 2 if they die fighting for outer even.
Other option is have bot lane trade you lanes if you won and they lost so adc can farm the long lane. It's really situational what choice you will make. You could push for t2 top but then u must be super careful cuz enemy mid and jg can roam over super easily and ruin your lead.
If i was Morde Top after first tower is won, Split Push Mid and Top and just try to keep it going. This is extremely difficult for Morde,
1.) There are some real funny rules about split pushing lanes now that gets you banned, and Morde is a easy setup for that.
2.) Way to slow to accomplish a split push, an that is Jungles job. What you expect your jungle to do? Switch? No. Stay in your lane until your team mates clear an call for help. Feeding Top mid-game , .... see were it leads.
3.) Mordes new Re-worked Lane Position is as a AP Carry. Bottom Lane Position with a 50/50 win rate anyway you look at it. Morde aint winning without that dragon, o to Split push with Morde would be Bottom-Top Split Push, which he cant do without a teleport Or Backing the entire game, again falling behind, Slow and still doesn't have a dragon.
4.) Dragin gets called and dies 10secs before you see the Ping disappear.
Just play Morde were Riot reworked him for teams sake. I was a Morde Main, then they placed him Bottom Lane an issued out bans and crap, dont be a 3 time loser when you end up knowing the truth. Cheers.
