Afk farmers

Yet another ranked game lost due to a person afk farming than later afk flaming from fountain. refused to ping, refused to work with the team, flamed anyone who asked him politely to either ping or follow lane. Does anyone know the type of punishments these people get if their report is found to be true? Also do you think riot is doing enough to prevent these people from continuing this behavior? Do you think riot should be stricter on these players or are they doing the best they can?

Those "afk farmers" are usually the ones that have the least deaths, most gold, and most objectives obtained.

It's not their fault you can't look at the map. "Enemy team has a Quinn, let me only worry about her if my laner pings it, otherwise it's their fault and not mine." Come on

What more can they do really? Manually reviewing every game where someone feels a teammate wasn't trying hard enough isn't feasible. Making an algorithm that autobans people who spend too long in base or away from their teammates isn't feasible.

In any team game you're going to get teammates that are bad, trolls or don't share your idea of how the game is best played. That's true in life as well - I've played basketball with some terrible teammates, but that doesn't mean the committee should ban them from playing.
