How am I supposed to win games like this?

I genuinely believe any game is winnable, regardless of scenario, because more often than not the team that is ahead loses it due to bad positioning or losing an important objective, etc.

So, how am I supposed to win a game when my entire team gives up at 5 minutes?

Leblanc gave first blood and rage quit at 3 mins.

My top and jg declared "open mid gg"

My support went afk and let me die on multiple engages they bait me into just to say at end screen I was inting.

I was continuously flamed for "holding them captive" and told to kill myself numerous times by our top laner.

I obviously report all of them at the end, but I have the feeling no one will be punished. Not even the Leblanc that rage quit and damned me into this toxic wasteland of a team.

We genuinely could've won that game, 4v5 or not, I asked my Neeko support to act as our midlaner and to hold the lane since I could solo bot pretty easily but they said no and sat afk in bush.

If anything I just want to see these people punished for doing stuff like this. Our top most likely has issues because he declared in chat "9x report me pls I hate this game so much I want Riot to ban me" at 3 mins after Leblanc quit. (same guy who told me to kms)

I tried to hold mid and play back against them since I at least wanted to try playing the game out to see what happens but it's inevitably impossible to win a 1v5, and this is legitimately the first time I've ever used that term literally.

If need be I can provide names for these accounts, because this genuinely is the reason people stop playing League all together, when they get matched with people like this. It's frustrating and admittedly if this weren't the first game of the day for me and I were already tilted I probably would've made this my reason to quit for the week, maybe month.

Is your default thinking that you must win every game? Cuz... you dont. You dont win those games. You lose, report any rule breaking that you find to be damaging to the game, and you move on to the next.

Hey. You should friend me. I know this is off topic ,but if you never give up I'll duo with you. :) I rarely if ever give up! Even in normals. I have a story to share. Basically I got flamed by friends for not wanting to forfeit in ranked flex. One them decided to disconnect because they said it's not winnable. The other just left the discord call ,and they started thier own discord call and ditched me.

Lets get to topic: Anyways I know it sucks when your team wants to give up early on ,but just try to stay positive! :D And say stuff like: "We still got this" "We can win" "Don't give up" Off topic sort of: Me and my friends are not talking right now ,but it sucked they got mad at me for not wanting to ff ,and intentionally left the game. I was sad. I been friends with them for 2+ years so i'm unsure what to do. They are decent people. O well.

Not giving up is a good thing in some cases. But you clearly saw you team gave up, if 2 people are afk and the other 2 gave up , you cant win the game solo, so it was right decision to just give up , in this case. Since its 1vs5 even if you play for 30mins wont be a win. Just take the lose and go next. But in some cases where you played the game for 40mins 5v5 and some dc or give up. You can pick up a kill and end it. It depends on the situation, in yours the right thing was to give up and go next since 4 of the team gave up.

I don't know why people are downvoting your post. I see that Leblanc quit early, that's unfortunate. Maybe you could submit a ticket for it.
