You Ever Get In Another Game (MMO RPG for example)...

And realize that the stereotype that "The League Community is one the worst gaming community?" was right? So I get into a game of Tera and I ask "How do you get to this one area?" Playing league has made me fear this kind of question, the question that would label you as a "ARE YOU A RETARD?! YOU NOOB!" ...made me be careful of asking questions, and even has made me scared of even simple things such as chatting on the boards for discussions just because I like analyzing the game with other players. I like talking to other players and feeling like I'm at home, that we're in league because somewhere inside we want a home away from home...at least I do. And you know what this high level player said to me? "Sure :)" proceeds to send a map-already highlighted to the area It was at that point that I realized. I was afraid. I was afraid of asking someone's advice or even someone's opinion because of League. I'm not saying that everyone is bad, I met tons of players that are awesome nor am I saying that I'm perfect either and expect someone else to be. But just because we're not perfect shouldn't mean that we shouldn't strive to be.But do you guys have the same fears as I do? If so, then I want you to start trying to become not just a good player but a player that makes a positive change to the community. I know I will and I wanna make a League a home just as much as Tera now is. For me and other players.

[slayer-jinx-wink] have a good day :D

The difference? A competitive nature and the fact the usually something is on the line for winning.

Try asking how to do something during a dungeon, and you will likely get the same kind of response as league does

(Also what server do you play on in Tera? I'll add you if you're on mine and I can get my internet to work well)

I had heard many times how bad the League of Legends community was before I started playing in November 2015. It's not quite as bad as I had read since there has been an effort by Riot and the players to clean it up. But it's still got some rotten elements. However, it's not the worst I've seen online. Blizzard game communities rank up there in pure immaturity and outright crap. During the "Burning Crusade" expansion, I almost quit WoW for good because of the hate. Now, I try to keep a VERY low profile when I'm gaming. It makes content designed for groups a bit difficult. So, no raiding for me. But I'm used to that.

Besides, it's been my experience that telling people I'm a gamer is a negative experience in it's own right. No need to stir the pot.
