Bad players

So this is my first post, I'm not sure if this is in the right category. I was playing a match as veigar going mid lane since it was blind pick and i wasn't able to claim top with nasus before someone else. The enemy team had our inner towers down before the 20 min point, the game was 7-28 or something and our team was getting destroyed. Their whole team was fed. Our team was like 1/6 on average, but I was 4/4/4 and would have been 6/4/2 if my team didn't killsteal. So I said "Im the only one on the team who isn't feeding" and then my team gets all angry and reports me, is this just wrong? Is it my fault for stating a fact? Its the truth and its not bad or anything, I don't see how saying that is cruel, am I in the wrong or is it my team?
