Post and Pre-Game Logs

Thank You Riot for implementing the IFS in Post & Pre-Game chat and also making it clear to the player that got punished that is was in Post/Pre-Game.

Before riot would log those chats but without a Support ticket being submitted nothing would get done about it. Although I do wonder in post game does the IFS hit on banter and heated discussions ?

I understand saying things like "Kill Yourself" and any Racial/Homophobic/Pejorative, but KDA/Play discussion is something that comes up in Post-Game chat and that stuff in game will usually get you dinged by the IFS, it's important that the IFS doesn't try to hinder or punish people who are having a civil or heated discussion about the game they just played.

I've had player thank me for giving them advice after me and the enemy team talked about the game, I've myself received great pointers for future games. I've seen some heated discussions about 1 player blaming another when it wasn't any one person fault for losing the game. (Please note the person was cursing excessively but wasn't being Racial/Homophobic/Pejorative or using any Non-Tolerance words.) I've been accused of being a Racial/Homophobic/Bigot & that I was definitely going to get banned.

I don't think those people should be punished, neither does anyone else in that game, being negative or bitter after a game isn't an issue that needs to be punished.

I hope the Boards Community joins me in this discussion.

Edit: Banter being things that don't include anything Racial/Homophobic/Pejorative or any No-Tolerance Words.

For your poll - define "banter".

As for heated discussions, I could live with or without, but I'd rather not see people getting at it in post-game, especially after a rough match.

I suspect this is one reason it wasn't implemented for a while - to allow time to fine tune it to not punish legitimate criticism, even if slightly heated, in post game chat. But I'm not sure.

Even heated discussion about how the game is played in-game isn't punished.

So why would it be extended to post game?
