I was recently premabanned despite not flaming, feeding, or trolling. I was wondering if could you take a look at my chat log and reverse this error riot?

Here is my chat log, we had a Kayn that was inting, feeding early game, not supporting bot which made them frustrated and flame and feed (blitz was 0 10 4 and mf was 3 and 7), then towards the end of the game he started flashing in front of us, going afk for several seconds, and me and the enemy team had a bit of back and forth like any game. This game lasted roughly 35 min and I only spoke out when he would do something absolutely crazy. At first I truly thought he didn't know how to play the game with his erratic and suspicious behaviour, only to realize late game he was trolling the entire time. I didn't say anything outrageous, no slurs, no excessive flaming or ruining my peers experience. Is this a false positive from my previous, worthy chat ban making me higher risk? Clearly a human couldn't make this mistake? No way I could've been permanently banned for this!

Hey,

I think you're misunderstanding how the "punishment volcano" works. You don't get worse punishments only by doing worse and worse things. You get moved to the next step because continuing to exhibit punishable behavior demonstrates an unwillingness to change, at least according to Riot's statistics.

Back in the day, Riot took a long look at how people react to punishments and warnings. What they found was that the first punishment was about 50% effective, regardless of what it was. Each subsequent punishment lost about 50% effectiveness (2nd = 25%, 3rd = 12%, and so on). Given that people were getting at least 6 punishments, it was clearly not working.

The 4-Step Volcano reflects this and is why we strongly caution people at the 14-day level to be extremely careful.

When you spend a game blaming and insulting your teammates and telling other players not to speak, you will get punished.

If you previously had a 14-day ban, that punishment could be a permanent one.

you don't get perma-banned off one game. You've obviously been toxic in the past and have been warned several times to fix your attitude, yet you still go around calling players "brainless" and such. So yes, you obviously can't learn from your previous bans and deserve the next level of punishment, even if it was a permaban

Don't feed trolls, jeez. You reward and encourage them by spending the entire game yelling at them and complaining about them.

Obviously this isn't an overwhelmingly toxic log, but it was 100% negative. You're talking trash to Kayn the entire game (doesn't matter if he deserved it or not), with a few breaks to yell at other players. If you recently had a 14-day ban, you are told after that ban that you're on your final warning. That's your cue to not act this way.

You did flame all game. You probably had prior punishments. I honestly see this single game as worthy of a chat restriction since I see no hate speech or threats. If you are further along in punishments, and you recently got off a 14-day ban, this ban was justified. Between Morgana and Kayn, you harassed them and acted like you were some kind of challenger god. People don't appreciate those kinds of players. If you are carrying them, why do you need to tell them they're noobs getting carried?

Also, you say Kayn was intentionally feeding but:

This entire chat excerpt shows that you thought Kayn was bad at the game, and was not intentionally feeding. You just convinced yourself that he was to justify your harassment.

Hey what's up.

I read the early portion of the chat log. Unfortunately, the way you handled the situation got a player to report you while you were on high alert. Being on high alert and then getting a report is what triggers the band, not necessarily the contents of the game itself.

You will have to file a ticket with Riot support, explain your case, and they will decide if you deserve the ban or not.

Completely deserved. Moment you are toxic even once you violate bunch of things including even administrative and sometimes criminal laws. We would all be better if people like you would get perma instantly.

You had a worse KDA than Kayn so I dunno man. Also, you were playing Cassiopeia, if you didn't get first blood I'd be surprised as she has one of the strongest level 2's in the entire game. I feel like there was another instance of abuse before this one that you're not showing us. You were insisting that Kayn was trolling but yet, for a good 2 minutes, followed then by another instance of 3+ minutes you suddenly stopped gaining exp when everyone else carried on gaining. I'm going to assume you died and sat at base flaming. For 10 whole minutes you got 2 cs. Why? Even for someone of your rank that's awful. Before calling someone out for trolling please make sure you're not actually trolling yourself because the stats are on show for everyone to analyse.
