Honestly, guys? Really? -Doom bots and Salt levels

(Assuming this is in the right place)

I can understand a lot of things random joiners do, such as going into a brand new doom bot's game mode and being confused on how to use the number selection. I guess this is time for the question "Why do you join Gauntlet if you want to play it at 'Teemoing' level?" Which raises the next question, what is the point in joining the Gauntlet (where its major hype was skip to 100 for maximum over herping) and going totally toxic (this'll be my 5th game this has happened in a row, out of 7 games..) when someone says "Lets skip to 100 guys." You queued in for doom bots....now isn't the time to say "its too hard, vote for 1."

Even THEN I can understand it, though. Some people don't want the full effect of the game mode that was placed and hyped up in front of them for - like going to the grocery store and buying $200 worth of food just to get stamps so you can get a $6 dollar plate for free, but hey, whatever, more power to you.

The last bit, what is truly angering and gear-grinding about all this..is just.. Why? Why go totally toxic on a game mode thats supposed to be for fun? Why answer the question "Wait guys why don't we just go all in for 100? We got this haha!", with "Why the ***** do you ask stupid questions? Maybe we don't want to waste our damn time with a game mode thats too hard for anyone to do? Its a waste of 20 minutes and just a loss"

Honestly, sorry to go on a rant about it, but why do we have so many pre-lobby downers? I can understand a bad day or something, but you don't go into something you know is for fun just to be a dick about it o.o. I'd have kept my mouth shut if I didn't have to hear the complaining about my other peeps queuing up without me getting the same treatment. All the salt lords: Go back to summoners rift and troll until you get banned as normal. Stop downing everyone else's good time before the damn game for fun even starts.

This actually happens quite often unfortunately :/ Every fun game mode that comes out you will always have those players that take it too seriously and rip the fun out of it. Even non-rotating game modes suffer from this. Normals and ARAMs suffer from it, and even older modes like Twisting Treeline (back when it was permanent haha) and Dominion suffered from it.

Urf was probably the worst though. Players would yell at others for not picking "OP" champions, when in reality Urf is meant to be a silly game mode on steroids where you throw caution to the wind and just play like a battle hamster on cocaine.

It really does suck and I wish people would take a chill pill in those game modes (ARAM especially), but there's not much we can do about whether or not they want to be "try-hard" at a fun game mode D:

It is like that for every "fun" game mode and the reason I only play those with full premade teams ;)
