Perma-Banned on my main account I've had since 2012

Right now, I'm feeling sad, very sad. I was banned after a game where I admit to being somewhat toxic towards my jungler, who btw was reported by the rest of the team and rightfully so because of stealing kills, feeding lanes etc. But the thing I don't understand is why I got Perma-Banned.

I was suspended for 2 weeks about 1-2 months ago but to go from being suspended for 2 weeks to a permaban is at least to me a little bit too drastic. For example I have a friend that used to play League, that got several chat restrictions and from my point of view these chat-restrictions should be for people being toxic in chat and my friend used to not only flame but also run it down mid quite a few times.

I've never had one of those chat-restrictions but most Importantly I can proudly say that I've never inted, but I have flamed in chat so now I'm asking you guys, do you feel like I've been treated fairly in this matter? If you agree/disagree please motivate why.

Best regards from a recently perma-banned Platinum player : ^)

The 2-week suspension is your last warning before a permanent ban, as you are informed in that suspension itself. Riot has found that more warnings don't help improve players, so the system is the following:

  • 10 game chat restriction
  • 25 game chat restriction
  • 14 day ban
  • Permanent ban

You can decay down to lower levels with good behavior, or rise multiple levels with extreme behavior (certain flaming qualifies, and you may have run afoul of a zero-tolerance policy -- without seeing your chat logs I can't confirm), but it is a pretty fair system that warns you each step of the way.

My guess is your "flaming" took the form of zero-tolerance behavior or extreme toxicity, which escalated you immediately to the 14-day ban stage.

If you admit to being toxic and flaming regularly then you already explained why you were perma'd. A suspension of 2 weeks is nothing to scoff at and is literally the last thing they do before perma-ing someone. Honestly you probably needed to do some major dick sucking to improve your overall standing on the account (maybe get honor level 5, prove you were doing the best you could to improve yourself as a player and not be toxic to others). I don't know the exact flamage you did but after a two week suspension the next step is a permaban (as far as I'm aware).

I'm sorry to hear that you were perma'd tho, it really does suck and I understand the frustration of league, you could try and contact riot support but I think they will stand firm on their decision.

Doesn't matter what he did, or if he was reported. You're punished for your actions. And I don't think stealing kills is reportable. But at least you understand you were toxic.

But the thing I don't understand is why I got Perma-Banned.

Bans escalate,

I was suspended for 2 weeks about 1-2 months ago but to go from being suspended for 2 weeks to a permaban is at least to me a little bit too drastic. The new system is much harsher, and it takes time to go down from a 2 week ban to the point where your next punishment is a 2 week ban.

I've never had one of those chat-restrictions but most Importantly I can proudly say that I've never inted, but I have flamed in chat so now I'm asking you guys, do you feel like I've been treated fairly in this matter? If you agree/disagree please motivate why.

Your 2 week ban was probably escalated due to hate speech. Do you have chat logs from this ban and the last one? Would help.

2 week suspension and still don't learn from that warning? Expect the ban hammer.

Sorry, no sympathy.

I don't see how anyone can judge that, given the fact that we know nothing other than you got a permaban, after a 2 week suspension. Permaban is after the 2 week so that makes sense, but I don't know what you got banned for. So yeaaah... can't really judge buddy, no one can.

Hey bro.

I had an account since the third month the game went live. I feel your pain. Someday I hope they will revisit the band policy and allow people access to their stuff if they meet a threshold of some sort. But from a business standpoint it makes much more sense to just claim the account and have users start a new account if they wish to try again.

I hate it.

Well if you said anything racist or "kys" thats grounds for an immediate ban.
