How I feel about my 14-day ban. :(

I want to start off with me saying that, I did get a 2 week ban, surprise surprise. Anyway. As everybody else who got banned, I thought that I did not do anything wrong, and I was that guy who posted it on the forums. I got a lot of responses, most of them were constructive in a way that made me see my mistakes.

I criticized a Teemo because of his previous match history (yes, he did badly anyways) but that is not the point. The point here is that you have to look at it from the other person’s perspective, wear their shoes, and feel what they would feel if YOU were the one being criticized for your abilities at a certain champion, It’s not a fun feeling. Many, including me, make the argument that we’re humans and we all get angry. I work in retail, and as you all know, the worst space to work in. Customers are a bunch of douchebags, and if I went around calling everybody names or just being negative/passive-aggressive, then I’d be fired.

What I am trying to get at is, if we let our anger out on the excuse that it’s natural, then what would this world be? Nothing but chaos. I found that people get the most toxic in ranked games. And even if that in-game you may not be the representation of the real you, nobody knows that, we only see the in-game you. And we conclude our judgements based on that, and our judgement is that you are negative and deserve the report.

I understand it is extremely difficult to put up a smile and be positive at all times. But if you feel that you’re angry, do not express it in chat, do not make the other person feel that they’re terrible at something and they cannot improve, because that’s how I, you and probably everybody at some point made someone else feel.

If you are reading this before going into a game, just remember. Do not blow up. Don’t be that guy that always blows up, it’s not good for you, health wise, and not good for your account, ban wise. And it’s definitely not good for the person you’re blowing up at. Hold your horses. Close your eyes, sing a taylor swift song or something and relax. Ha, if only people took their own advice, I wouldn’t be banned right now.

Those 14 days will give me time to reflect on my behavior (yeah right, I’m gonna be playing something else.. pfft!) and when I get back, and I will be back… I’ll wreck all the noobs this game has to offer. With positivity (maybe, we’ll see). [slayer-jinx-wink]

Learn from my mistakes. Don't let anger take over you, tell it to fuck off. And remember, a positive attitude sparks a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes.

I'm not sure why you're getting downvoted, because everything you said is just about right. +1
