Sometimes opponent deserve honor more than ally.
Had a lot of games where enemy was more honorable than allies. Why was honoring enemy was removed or will it come back sometime in near future?

ASFAIK, it was limitations and was simply just not implemented in with the new honor system at the time of launch and future addition of the capability to honor opponents was being considered.
Honor system was launched on "Bare minimum" requirements as they wanted to launch it ASAP, get feedback and implement more things based on feedback so they can reassess the priorities of development.
If we waited for everything, we probably won't get the honor system until middle of 2018.
good idea! just throw it on the top of riot´s pile of unfinished and halfassed features.
I don't know why this was taken out. Sometimes I think someone on the opposite team was really good or was a sportsman in chat.
I miss being able to give them props.
