Don't play a team game if you don't want/refuse to play as a team. If your team is calling for a group up mid, but you ignore them because you feel as though getting more cs while your team gets killed/zoned out is more important, you're the reason so many people avoid this game. That is all.
Sorry, but grouping mid is not the Tactic To Beat All Other Tactics.
There are plenty of scenarios where it's perfectly fine for one person to push a lane while the others are somewhere else.
*Edit: unless it's ARAM. By all means, go yell GROUP MID in aram
Theres a more important thing to follow:
