Going ranked, get a malph sup. no big deal though I have seen plenty of malph sups. but he says hes going full ap malph because he wanted to mid. THIS IS RANKED. he is bored so he comes to ranked and fucks us because he just felt like it. but it wasn't intentional feeding, nor offensive language, or anything else so can you really report them and if so what do you actually use.
If he played in the bot lane you can't report him, because then he technically played his role, although from the sound of it badly

You could put it under "griefing", but unless he's doing it very often theres virtually no chance of him being punished for that. The automated system cannot detect that kind of thing.

Its considered griefing. If he doesn't care and doesn't really want to work with the team.
Now if he was trying and trying his hardest to work with the team, then sadly its not reportable.
So depending on the situation, It would be Yes or No.

Well, if he got the support role and went support, but full AP, then there is nothing that backs up a report. You are not forced to go Full AP or Full Support, it is part of League's rules. They do not enforce the meta, and by going Malphite full AP he is isn't doing anything against the rules and isn't ruining anyone's experience. Something like the Singed case is different, he went Singed Support with Smite and counterjungled all game while his team pushed to win. By doing this, the Singed left the ADC alone and ruined the ADC's experience which is reportable since he did it everygame.
