PSA: If someone bans a champ you wanted to play...

Please, for the sake of everyone's sanity, just suck it up and pick someone else you're comfortable with playing in your role. No one one your team wants to lose LP dodging you, and no one on your team wants to sit through your 20-minute long feeding/AFK tantrum. If you really don't have any other champions you can play in the role you're given, then politely ask your team if anyone is willing to swap roles. It won't always work, but the worst thing you can do is ruin the fun of four other people just because things didn't go your way.

I want to say you're right but at the same time I think that the system does not punish people who intentionally ban a champion to be a jerk and that the only real way to protect against it is to ruin the game. If this is done enough, people will stop doing it because they will learn that doing so is going to hurt them.

There's no other mechanic to punish this. I think if it becomes common knowledge that doing it is going to result in a thrown game, the practice will stop.

Also, it's only three of the other people.

I'm a 1 trick poney. I get my champion, I'll usually carry. If the enemy team takes or bans it, I'll dodge, but if my team trolls me, I'll first time a champion. Maining a single champion is personally the most successful way that I've found to rank up, plat 1 is the highest I managed to get last season. You can say that you should main more than one champion, but I could care less what your opinion is, this is what I enjoy doing.

Sorry, but most of the time like was said before I will just end up trolling.

I just got out of a game where someone purposely banned the champ i wanted out of spite.

At that point, it is a game who can troll harder, idgaf.

My question is, what if it's intentional? And the person is just being a straight ass? Any tips for that?

But on a side note, I do agree with you. People should have a few champs for every role.

All the immature children in this thread failing to realize by having "revenge" on that player they are no only just harming themselves but 4 other innocent people.

That's like me getting punched in the face by some random dude, then I go and punch 4 other random people in the face for being in the same room as me then punching myself in the face. You're just making yourself look immature and stupid. Suck it up, move on, report him after the game.

Or you yourself dodge. I've had to do that myself a couple times when a teammate intentionally bans Quinn for no reason

If someone bans my pick i just go trundle support. That way when they call me a troll in all chat i can thank them for staing the obvious.
