A possible way of dealing with AFK's.
I love playing ranked when I have the free time to do so. I sit down in my comfy chair, I turn on my computer, and I open up and LoL and queue up for ranked. I try my hardest to help me and my team by offering advice like "We need a a tank top and/or jg", or "We could use some more AP". We end up picking out a good team comp to further our chances of winning the game. It all goes well until the announcer says "A summoner has disconnected". That is when I start getting nervous. But is it fair to fight a 4v5 and lose the game causing you to lose hard earned LP and give the enemy team free easily earned LP? It's not right. I understand people AFK sometimes for important reasons and I understand that, so I don't want to see any comments like "Yeah well if my mom got shot right next to me, I shouldn't AFK?" That's not what I mean. It's ok to AFK if it's for a good reason. Going AFK in ranked to go get a snack or beat your meat isn't a viable excuse (unless you haven't eaten anything in the past week and decided to log onto Lol instead of eating right away for some reason). The victims on the 4 side of the unfair 4v5 fight shouldn't even lose LP nor should the enemies gain free LP. I was thinking that maybe Riot should implement an AFK system in the sorts of Dota 2's system. It doesn't have too be exactly the same, just similar. For those of you who don't know Dota 2's AFK system, if somebody disconnects from the game, you are allowed to disconnect from the game as well with no consequences or punishments. If this system were to be implemented into LoL, I feel that nobody in that match should earn or lose the LP that should be obtained or deducted. Post down below in the comments with what you think of this idea.
